You Can Make A Difference
Support Organ & Tissue Donation
In the beginning of 2006, Dyamond was adjusting to the fact
that she had to have a life-saving liver transplant, which for
any twelve year old is a lot to deal with. In June, she learned
that her kidneys were failing and she now needs a life-saving
kidney transplant as well. Many of you may not be aware that
a transplanted kidney has a life expectancy of 12 to 18 years.
With this being said, Dyamond will be facing multiple kidney
transplants in her lifetime. We hope and pray that her new liver
will last her lifetime.
After learning this information
and that her younger sister is potentially looking at having
to go down the same path, Dyamond has decided that she wants
to do everything in her power to educate people and bring awareness
to organ donation and tissue donation. That is why we have
launched the ‘Dyamond Forever’ campaign.
Dyamond has made it her mission to make sure people are aware
of the numbers in the chart below.

Share your life
More than 90,000 Americans are waiting for organ transplants
and hundreds of thousands more need tissue transplants. Thousands
die needlessly each year due to lack of donors. You can help
save lives by deciding now to be an organ and tissue donor.
Share your decision
At the time of your death, your family will be asked about
donation. Sharing your decision with your family now will help
them carry out your wishes later. This can provide your family
with great comfort.
